【Taisho Pharmaceutical】 Claritin EX 14 Tablets

Claritin EX is a nasal allergy medication containing loratadine、 a second-generation antihistamine.
It is less likely to cause drowsiness and is less likely to impair concentration、 judgment、 or work efficiency.
Taking one tablet once a day provides long-lasting relief from symptoms such as a runny nose、 nasal congestion、 and sneezing.

[Indications and Effects]
Relief of the following nasal allergy symptoms caused by pollen、 house dust、 and other allergens: runny nose、 nasal congestion、 and sneezing

[Directions]
Adults (15 years and older): 1 tablet once daily
Take after a meal. Be sure to take it at the same time each day.
*Do not administer to children under 15 years of age.

Loratadine: 10 mg
Excipients: Lactose、 corn starch、 magnesium stearate

1. Do not take this medication if you fall into any of the following categories:
(1) Anyone who has previously experienced allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients.
(2) Children under 15 years of age.
2. Do not use any of the following medications while taking this medicine:
Other allergy medications (including medications for skin conditions and oral medications for rhinitis)、 oral medications containing antihistamines (such as cold medicines、 cough and expectorant medications、 motion sickness medications、 and hypnotic/sedative medications)、 erythromycin、 and cimetidine.
3. Do not drink alcohol before or after taking this medicine.
4. Do not take this medication while breastfeeding; if you do take it、 avoid breastfeeding.

1. The following individuals should consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson before taking this medication:
(1) Individuals currently under a doctor’s care.
(2) Individuals diagnosed with any of the following:
Liver disease、 kidney disease、 epilepsy
(3) Individuals unsure whether their symptoms are caused by allergic rhinitis or other factors、 such as a cold.
(4) Those who have been diagnosed with other allergic conditions、 such as bronchial asthma or atopic dermatitis.
(5) Pregnant women or those who think they may be pregnant.
(6) Elderly individuals.
(7) Those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
2. If any of the following symptoms appear after taking this medication、 they may be side effects. Stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson with this package insert in hand

Skin: Rash、 itching、 hives、 redness of the skin、 hair loss
Respiratory System: Sore throat、 dryness in the nose
Digestive System: Nausea、 vomiting、 abdominal pain、 dry lips、 mouth sores、 gastritis
Central Nervous System: Fatigue、 dizziness、 headache
Cardiovascular System: Palpitations、 tachycardia
Other: Dry eyes、 ringing in the ears、 hearing loss、 hot flashes、 edema (face、 hands、 and feet)、 taste disturbances、 menstrual irregularities、 chest discomfort、 abnormal uterine bleeding、 chest pain、 urinary retention
In rare cases、 the following serious symptoms may occur. If this happens、 seek medical attention immediately.

Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after taking the medication、 symptoms such as itchy skin、 hives、 hoarseness、 sneezing、 itchy throat、 shortness of breath、 palpitations、 or confusion may occur.
Epilepsy: (For individuals with a history of epileptic seizures)
Muscle stiffness or tremors、 impaired consciousness、 and loss of memory prior to the seizure.
Convulsions: Sudden、 involuntary muscle contractions may occur.
Liver dysfunction: Symptoms such as fever、 itching、 rash、 jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes)、 dark urine、 general fatigue、 and loss of appetite may occur.
3. The following symptoms may occur after taking this medication. If any of these symptoms persist or worsen、 stop taking the medication and consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson:
Dry mouth、 constipation、 diarrhea、 drowsiness
