As a second-generation antihistamine、 this oral medication for allergic rhinitis is less likely to cause drowsiness.
Rhinitis symptoms caused by pollen or house dust occur when substances such as histamine and leukotrienes are released in the body upon inhalation of these allergens.

1. Do not take this medication if you fall into any of the following categories:

(2) Children under 15 years of age.
(3) Anyone diagnosed with liver disease.
2. Do not use any of the following medications while taking this medication:
Other allergy medications (including medications for skin conditions and oral medications for rhinitis)、 oral medications containing antihistamines (such as cold medicines、 cough and expectorant medications、 motion sickness medications、 and hypnotic/sedative medications)
3. Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this medication
(Drowsiness or other side effects may occur.)
4. Do not take this medication while breastfeeding; if you do take it、 avoid breastfeeding.
5. Do not drink alcohol before or after taking this medication.

2. If any of the following symptoms appear after taking this medication、 they may be side effects. Stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson with the package insert in hand.

Urinary: Difficulty urinating、 frequent urination、 hematuria、 proteinuria
Other: Edema、 hot flashes、 chest pain、 sticky phlegm、 fatigue、 nasal congestion、 menstrual irregularities、 bitter taste、 diminished sense of taste、 gynecomastia (female-like breasts in men)、 breast enlargement
In rare cases、 the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases、 seek medical attention immediately.

Liver dysfunction: Symptoms such as fever、 itching、 rash、 jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes)、 brown urine、 general fatigue、 and loss of appetite may occur.
Thrombocytopenia: A decrease in the number of platelets (a component of blood) may cause bleeding symptoms such as nosebleeds、 bleeding from the gums、 and bruising.
3. The following symptoms may occur after taking this medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen、 stop taking the medication and consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson with the package insert in hand:
Dry mouth、 constipation、 diarrhea、 drowsiness
4. If your symptoms do not improve after about one week of use (including the duration of use of other medications containing epinastine hydrochloride)、 stop taking the medication and consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson with the package insert in hand
5. Even if your symptoms improve、 consult a doctor、 pharmacist、 or registered salesperson if you continue taking this medication for more than 2 weeks (including the duration of use of other medications containing epinastine hydrochloride).
