Selequinone S is a drug that uses trimebutine maleate、 a gastrointestinal motility regulator、 as an active ingredient to improve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

[Efficacy / Effect]
Relief of the following symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome: repeated or alternating diarrhea and constipation with abdominal pain or discomfort
(Limited to those who have previously been diagnosed and treated by a doctor.)

(Of 3 tablets)
Trimebutine maleate ... 300 mg
● Additives: Ethyl cellulose、 calcium carmellose (CMC-Ca)、 magnesium stearate、 cellulose、 hypromellose、 macrogol

[Usage / Dose]
・ Adults (15 years old and over): 1 tablet 3 times a day
・ Under 15 years old ... Do not take

● Precautions regarding usage and dosage
(1) Please strictly observe the usage and dosage.
(2) How to take out tablets
Press the convex part of the PTP sheet containing the tablet strongly with your fingertip to break the aluminum on the back side、 take it out and drink.
(If swallowed as it is by mistake、 it may lead to an unexpected accident such as sticking to the esophageal mucosa.)

● Do not take the following people.
(1) Persons who have never been diagnosed or treated for irritable bowel syndrome by a doctor.
(2) People who are not sure if irritable bowel syndrome has recurred. (For example、 this symptom is different from when I was previously diagnosed and treated for irritable bowel syndrome)
(3) People who want to go to the bathroom for defecation or have abdominal pain even at night、 such as when sleeping.
(4) People who have a fever.
(5) People with joint pain.
(6) People with mucous stool (melena).
(7) People with severe diarrhea that repeats.
(8) People with acute severe diarrhea.
(9) People who have abdominal pain that does not improve due to defecation.
(10) People with vomiting.
(11) Persons who have lost 3 kg or more and unexpectedly lost weight within 6 months.
(12) Persons with a history of colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease、 ulcerative colitis、 etc.).
(13) Persons who have had allergic symptoms due to this drug or the ingredients of this drug.
(14) Children under the age of 15.
● Do not use for a long time.

● If you experience any of the following symptoms after taking this medicine、 you may have side effects. Stop taking this medicine immediately and consult your doctor、 pharmacist or registered distributor with this package insert.
・ Skin: Rash、 itch、 hives
・ Digestive system: constipation、 diarrhea、 hunger、 dry mouth、 numbness in the mouth、 nausea、 vomiting
・ Psycho-nervous system: drowsiness、 dizziness、 malaise、 headache
・ Others: Palpitations、 difficulty urinating、 urinary retention

● In rare cases、 the following serious symptoms may occur. In that case、 please see a doctor immediately.
・ Liver dysfunction: Fever、 itch、 rash、 jaundice (yellowing of skin and white of eyes)、 brown urine、 general fatigue、 loss of appetite、 etc. may occur.

● If your symptoms do not improve after taking 1 week、 or if you take more than 2 weeks even if your symptoms improve、 please consult your doctor、 pharmacist or registered distributor with this package insert.
However、 if you take it for more than 2 weeks、 please take it for up to 4 weeks.
